"Faith Wladyka, MCAS ’26, delivers a stellar performance as the protagonist. From her repeated hand gestures to constant rocking back and forth, her portrayal of a girl on the spectrum surpasses any expectations the audience could have."

"Interestingly, the play was originally written with a male lead, [Christopher]; director Luke Jorgensen reached out to the playwright for permission to have Chris be a female instead, allowing him to cast Wladyka in the role. This change took the message of the play to a new level, alluded to by Wladyka in her reflection on playing the part: “I think that autism in girls is not seen as often as it can or should be, so I felt really grateful to represent something that important to me.”"

Note: Faith was both an actress in and member of the devising team for Inverness Unravels.

"Inverness Unravels, directed by Dawn Meredith Simmons, debuted on Thursday to a full Robsham Theater. The play was written by nine students in Simmons’ “Devising” class and situates the narrative of Macbeth within a defense contracting company."

"The Macbeths are eventually challenged by the daughter of Q, Leah Lobacher (Faith Wladyka, MCAS ’26), and the sons of the original CEO, Malcolm (Zachary Kariotis, MCAS ’25) and Blaine Ross (Landon Le, MCAS ’26), who seek to avenge their parents’ murders.

The revenge coup is ultimately successful...It was such a satisfying narrative arc to witness,” said Stumm.

Despite this ostensibly happy ending, the play ends ambiguously. The lights went out just as Leah, Malcolm, and Blaine began to bicker over who would be the new CEO—hinting at further bloodshed caused by ambition."

"In an interview with E! News, [Ryan Gosling] had nothing but kind words for his young costar. "Faith's the best. And she ... I think is one of the best kids I've ever seen in a movie," he said."

"She's fully herself," Cianfrance said. "Everything about her, from the way she talks, to the way she tells stories, to the way she listens, to her attentiveness and openness to people. She doesn't have fear"...Throughout filming, Cianfrance attempted to capture "the unpredictability of Faith and her imagination" – something Wladyka thinks he did successfully and beautifully."

"Malverne’s resident starlet, Faith Wladyka, has built a résumé that would leave many show business types envious, acting alongside the likes of Ryan Gosling, Justin Timberlake, Paul Rudd and One Direction...

[Faith] has a budding acting career in film and television, and was most recently featured in a sketch on the Dec. 7 “Saturday Night Live,” alongside guest host Rudd and musical guest One Direction.

Having made her debut in a Johnson & Johnson commercial when she was just 10 months old, [Faith] said she enjoys acting because she likes to have fun working with her friends...Faith’s other TV appearances have included commercials for SONY (beside Peyton Manning and Timberlake), Polident and AT&T, and the soap opera “One Life to Live.” She made her movie debut in the 2010 romantic drama “Blue Valentine".

"All of the actors deliver believable performances as middle schoolers...Faith Wladyka, MCAS ’26, as Logainne Schwartzandgrubenierre...also achieve this through their youthful speech and movements on stage. "

"In the skit, taped on Friday, Rudd plays the biggest fan of the boy band, One Direction, and challenges the OD trivia knowledge of a group of tween girls as they all wait outside a concert to meet Zayn, Niall, Harry Styles, Louis and Liam.

At one point, he’s seen braiding Wladyka’s hair and asks: “On the count of three, what was the name of Louie's first dog?” Before anyone can chime in, Rudd answers: “Ted!” “You didn’t count,” Wladyka retorts.

Wladyka...was in a previous "SNL" skit with actress Tina Fey in 2011."

"I kept casting Frankies, but they would grow up on me," he said as he recalled the years that passed until the film finally went into production...A couple months after Valentine's Day in 2009, he found little Faith.

"I feel [finding Faith] was one of the reasons we had to wait 12 years," he added."

"Faith already dreams of a future as a director, dancer and actress -- as long as it also includes a stint as a Boston College cheerleader"

"Gosling, meanwhile, got candid about being fully immersed in the role while speaking with NPR. ...contributor Dave Davies in 2010...We fought all day, and then we’d have to take [our characters’ daughter] Faith to the family fun park … whatever we could do to create real memories, so when it came time to shoot the [last] part of the film, we were drawing on real memories.”"

"Cianfrance said he prefers to come on set prepared not for what he expected to happen, with certainty, but with eyes open to possible discovery. He recalled an early scene in Blue Valentine where Gosling’s troubled character is asleep on a couch and his young daughter Frankie, played by Faith Wladyka, wakes him and they leave together to go into a yard."

"Once the sun came up, all of a sudden this little girl pops through the door and woke up Ryan. And he didn’t say his lines that were in the script. He kind of woke a little bit, and that’s what we ended up using. It’s like embracing that mistake or discovery,” the veteran director/writer recounted."

"Nevertheless, Dean and Cindy eventually marry and have a sweet child, Frankie (Faith Wladyka), who naturally becomes the center of their lives."

"As little Frankie, Faith Wladyka is an unusually convincing child actress, and it’s her playful and funny rapport with [Ryan] Gosling’s Dean that makes you like him even when the darkness is taking hold. To Cindy, he’s another child to take care of. To Frankie, he’s the person who makes her feel safe. Perhaps that horror-film-like threat to the child in the movie’s first scene is apt after all. Blue Valentine leaves you with the shattering vision of its truest victim—the one who’ll someday look for safety in places it might not be. And the psychodrama will go on and on …"

Dean is a house painter, Cindy is a nurse, and they share their modest house in Pennsylvania with their 6-year-old daughter, Frankie (Faith Wladyka), and a dog whose disappearance is a harbinger of things to come

"The girl is Frankie (Faith Wladyka), aged about five, the only child of Dean (Ryan Gosling) and Cindy (Michelle Williams). Frankie is calling for their dog, which has run off, and Cindy’s search for the wanderer strikes the first note of desperation in the film, though hardly the last. When she arrives late for a school concert, her eyes are wet; the news is not good, and you want to know how Dean will break it to their daughter."

"Last night in New York City, designer Christian Siriano along with Walt Disney studio hosted a private screening of "The Pirate Fairy" for special VIPs in celebration of the film's April 1st home release...The evening featured a special appearance by the film's producer Jenni Magee Cook along with VIP guests and their families including ...Faith Wladyka (Blue Valentine)"

"While filming Blue Valentine, Michelle Williams, Ryan Gosling, and Faith Wladyka lived as a family in their characters' house for a month."

"President; Class of 2026; Theatre Major; Dance and Inclusive Education Minor[s]"

"This summer, Faith (’26) is working as the Lead Music Specialist at a summer camp for people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities on Long Island! Her role is to plan and lead music activities for the campers. She loves it so much and is very grateful that she can combine two areas of her life that she is passionate about (the arts and inclusion for people with disabilities). She also is writing the fall show for the Boston College CCE, going to the beach, spending time with her dog, and preparing for the upcoming year of BC Theatre!

In her free time, you might find her at rehearsal, volunteering at The Campus School (as a Lit. Buddy and a member of the Social Justice and Advocacy Committee), spending time with her friends from the BC chapter of Best Buddies, performing comedy with the CCE (Co-President), and advocating for BC Theatre students as an Advocacy Coordinator for COMM

And if she’s not doing any of that (or maybe even if she is), you can find her listening to Taylor Swift.

She is most looking forward to continuing MTWing’s service work, the MTWing fall show, and Comfyoke!"

"I have had a great time costume designing Eurydice! A lot of my work focused on researching 1950s fashion, which was very fun! I especially enjoyed deciding on color palettes for each character, and considering how those palettes would interact with one another."
