All About Faith!

Faith Wladyka is an actress (SAG-AFTRA) with a lifelong career in theatre, film, television, commercials, and radio. You may recognize her from her Young Artists Awards Nominated film debut in the Oscar-Nominated film Blue Valentine as Frankie (opposite Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams), her theatre and dance performances, or her comedy work.

 

Faith holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, with minors in Dance and Inclusive Education from Boston College. While training at BC, she performed in complex dramas, comedic musicals  Shakespeare, and original and devised work. Her favorite credits include Christopher in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Logainne in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Onstage Swing (six tracks)/Ensemble in As You Like It, and Leah/Devising Team in Inverness Unravels. Faith's passion for performing also extends to her life as a dancer. She has trained for over 18 years in various disciplines within dance, such as Pointe, Tap, Kickline, Musical Theatre, Laban Movement Analysis, and everything in between! Her dance performance credits include various festivals in New York and Massachusetts and performances with BC On Tap (Boston College's first and only Tap dance team). Her love of dance inspired her to train in stage combat, and in December 2023, she received her Basic Pass in Single Sword from the Society of American Fight Directors. Faith is also a dedicated comedian. Her outgoing personality is a perfect match for scripted comedy (including her recurring sketch player credits on Saturday Night Live and her appearance as Blair Violet Pendleton on Hulu's Difficult People) and improv (having performed multiple times at The Rockwell in Somerville, MA with Union Comedy's Union Improv Festival). At Boston College, Faith was a 4-year member of The Committee for Creative Enactments (an improv and scripted comedy troupe dedicated to both performing and teaching the art of comedy to the greater Boston and Boston College communities). 

 

When not on stage or on camera, Faith can be found costume and props designing, playwriting and devising, and advocating for inclusion of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the arts.
